Re: How do I replace what looked like a strainer on my Echo bathroom tap. The water just sprays out

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Graham3. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about replacing parts on an Echo bathroom tap.

Would you be able to show our knowledgeable members the tap, where it's leaking and the part you wish to replace? That way they'd have a better idea of what's going on and be able to offer informed suggestions. Let me know if you need assistance uploading an image. Without seeing what exactly is going on, I presume it's likely the aerator that's clogged with debris and forcing water to spray out its screw threads. Unscrewing the aerator from the tap and cleaning the internals of the aerator could resolve the issue.

Was this one of our products? If so, if you could provide more details on the tap brand and model, then I can take a look to see if replacement parts are available. Currently, I'm not having much luck referencing it with "Echo"

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you. I had a further look at the tap and could see that the aerator could be unscrewed. I did this

and cleaned it out so that it is working properly again.

I appreciate the replies that i received.
