Hi Everyone,
do you know how remove this cover ?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @jeff33. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing a tap flange.
The flange just turns anti-clockwise and unscrews, though it can be quite hard to get a grip on the tapered flange, especially if they are a bit seized.
Were you changing the taps or just the washer? We have this question come up quite often on the community. The last discussion was just the other day, so you might want to read through the advice I provided there. If you are changing the tapwear entirely, I'd suggest you use a set of multi-grip pliers. Their teeth will bite into the metal and provide the grip needed to turn the flange. However, if you are keeping these taps, then you might like to try a strap wrench, which is less likely to damage the finish.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
