How to replace damaged laminate floors?
The laminate flooring outside my bathroom has been damaged due to moisture. It is unleveled and has gaps. Considering it is close tk the border Is there a easy way to do this job without getting a tradie?

Re: Replace damaged laminate floors
Hi @coolmum40
Thanks for sharing your question about your laminated flooring. I'm afraid the pieces are too well fit in to be removed from that end near the door. The pieces in front of it will need to removed in order to get proper access to it. If you can locate another section where you can disassemble the flooring, I suggest starting there. But if you believe that it will be too involved, I suggest engaging the services of a laminate floor installer and getting a quote for the repair.
Let me call on our experienced members @Dave-1 and @Nailbag for their recommendations.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Re: Replace damaged laminate floors
Hi @coolmum40
The boards were installed prior to the skirting and door architrave as well as the transition metal strip going the tiles. To be honest, though not a major job, it is an advanced one taking 2-3 hours.
It requires the two thin end boards to be split apart and removed. The next long board will need to be cut in a particular way to allow it to also be removed without damaging its connecting boards. The replacement boards need to be accurately cut to match the profile of the door jamb and architrave in order to be refitted. The installed by a combination of click and join and glue where the click joins needed to be removed. Once installed a matching gap filler is applied and the metal transition plate re-fitted.
If not up to that task, I would Google "floating floor repair services). I would expect this to be too expensive.

Re: Replace damaged laminate floors
Morning @coolmum40
I cant quiet tell if there is an edge strip next to the metal strip going into the bathroom? If there is you could pry that up and maybe see if there is any "play" in the boards tho as @EricL and @Nailbag have stated I think the boards will all be tightly clipped across the floor and the tiny gap you need will be over the other side.
@Noyade 's suggestion tho is probarlly how I would have been going as a back up option. Tho scary his post really shows you decent steps and why so, as he stepped through them. Id vote to check and then consider @Noyade's solution.
