How to replace a shower head?

Morning,

I need to replace my shower head.  The brand is Piove and the model no. is AS/NZS 3662  wmk261163.

Can I get any similar shower head from Bunnings or do I have to purchase the same brand and model no.,

I presume I just need to screw the new shower head on?  Not a handyman.  Can you advise.  Thanks Pam

Re: Shower heads

Hello @wongedwoman (Pam)

Thanks for sharing your question about replacing your shower head. Most shower heads often come with a standard 15mm fitting. But in saying that there are models that have custom fittings. I suggest unscrewing your shower head from your shower hose and bringing it with you when you come to visit the store. You can then match the size of the threaded bottom to make sure that the new shower head will fit on your shower hose.

My best advice is to make sure none of the rubber O rings go missing when you take the old shower head off. I propose looking at the  Flexispray Chrome Single Function Bermuda Handset WELS 3 Star 9L/min. It's a single function shower handset rated at 9lt. a minute.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
