How to repair water-damaged cabinet?

I would like some help to repair my bathroom cabinet drawer that has water damage on the top and has started to swell.

You might like to start by adding some images to your post so our helpful members can better understand what you're working with. Let me know if you need a hand uploading the pictures.

I'd recommend reading through some of the many previous discussions on this topic, as there is plenty of great information that would benefit you in your project. 

Once we have a better idea of the extent of the damage, we'll be able to recommend the best course of action, whether that be repair or replacement.
