Hi, I accidentally broke the hook from the back of the bathroom door and tried unsuccessfully to reattach next to the original spot. How do I patch the holes left behind? Thanks
Hello @Kaileybum
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's fabulous of you to join us, and thank you for sharing your questions about how to patch holes in your hollow door.
I suggest having a look at this discussion - How to fix a cracked door by @bilcruise. I suggested using Parfix 500g Ready To Use Multipurpose Filler in combination with Pro Renovator 38mm Plastic Scraper. Sand the loose paint flakes off making sure not to over-sand the area. Carefully fill in the holes and let the filler cure before putting on some more. Once the filler is fully dry, carefully sand it down until it is flat. All that's left is to paint over the patch and let the paint dry.
