What would be the best tool to remove this horrible plastic 'nut' on my toilet flush system!
I am trying to replace a leaking flush and this nut has been stubborn. I don't have a big enough wrench to get it moving and don't really want to buy one as they are expensive. Any sub $20 tool that would do the trick?
Hi @jordoniums
Try using thats what i use.

It will all itself to adjust to that nut size. If The tool plays up and changes size on you tighten the plier central nut a bit. Cheaper hand tools can come back and bite you when under more pressure.
A Better tool might be as below as hand tools can last you a life time.

@Jewelleryrescue has already jumped in with the right advice.
Multigrips, such as the Craftright 250mm Multigrip Plier are the best option at a price point beneath $20.
