How to remove old basin taps that are leaking?

I need some advice about how to get these old basin taps off. I don't understand what you need to do to remove the taps or what tool is needed. Any tap.jpgadvice appreciated. I'll post a picture of the tap head to help you understand the problem

Re: Old basin taps leaking

Hello @James23

Thanks for sharing your question about removing your tap handles. It is either glued in or calcium deposits have anchored your tap handle in place. I suggest using Haron Tap Handle Puller, to pull the tap handle from the spindle. Simply place the tool over the tap handle and clamp the hooks to the side and screw the center post in the middle of the spindle. The hooks will get tight as you keep turning the center post. Pretty soon you'll see the tap handle slowly rising.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
