Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @anchal123. It's amazing to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing residue on a sink top.
You might want to check whether the issue is just glue residue or if the benchtop itself has been damaged. If it's just the glue, you can try using Goof Off 177ml Adhesive Remover on a small, inconspicuous area first to make sure it doesn't harm the surface. If all looks good, apply a small amount to help loosen the glue, then carefully scrape it off using a Trojan Safety Scraper with Trojan Plastic Scraper Blades. Avoid using the steel blades included with the scraper, as they might scratch or damage the sink top.
If the benchtop itself is damaged, you'll need to sand the area smooth with 240-grit sandpaper to remove the uneven surface. Then, paint the benchtop with Dulux 1L Renovation Range Tiles & Benchtops Gloss White. Remember to use the specific primer for benchtops.
