how do I get this off please
Hello @michelle81
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your tap handle.
If you look closely at the handle, you'll notice a tiny hole at the side. Inside that tiny hole is a grub screw. This grub screw is what's holding the tap handle in place. In order to remove it, I suggest using an Allen key. Once the grub screw has been taken off set it aside in a safe spot where it won't get lost. We'll need to put it back once you've done your repairs.
I suggest having a look at this guide - How to replace a tap washer. In step 2 you'll notice a host of handles being removed. Yours is picture number 2.3, it has a clear picture of the grub screw and the Allen key.
Please note that the handle may have bonded to the spindle due to scale build up. I suggest pulling the handle out you can also use a small mallet to move the handle forward.
If you need further assistance, please let me know.
