I would like to remove this soap holder as it is all mouldy but I don’t know how. Any tips. Thanks so much.

Re: Moudly soap holder

Hi @krystal2,

It's hard to tell from your image if there's a way to remove the soap holder from the shower rail. It could have been placed on the rail at the manufacturer and is not designed to come off unless the whole shower rail and brackets are disassembled. Since it's plastic, the easiest way to remove it without complete disassembly could be by cutting it off with a mini hacksaw. If you slice diagonally along the cylindrical section that encases the rail, you should be able to pry it off. You'll need to be very careful not to cut through it and into the chrome rail, though. The only alternative I can think of is un-screwing the brackets from the wall and seeing if they come off the end of the rail. If they do, that should allow you to slide the soap holder off too.

Please let me know if you need further assistance or have questions.

Re: Moudly soap holder

Hi @krystal2,

The screws for the rail will be under those covers at either end. The cover likely needs to be popped off or unscrewed. There could be a tiny little grub screw located on the bottom of the cover out of view, which holds it in place.

Thank you so much.
I got it off and was able to slide the soap dish off.
