Re: How to remove a flick mix cartridge.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Aug. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about accessing a mixer cartridge.

Let me know if you need assistance uploading some images. They'll help our members offer useful suggestions.

It sounds like you've removed the circular plastic cap that covers the hole for allen key access. Typically, the allen screw is directly inside, about 10mm deep. Unless you are looking straight inside the hole using a torch to illuminate the area, you probably won't be able to see it. It's more of a touch-and-feel operation. Just insert the allen key straight in until it stops, and poke around until you have it seated in the allen screw head. It'll likely take you five mins until you find it, as it can be a bit tricky.

The screws are generally either a two or two-and-a-half millimetre size, so if you're not having luck with a two-millimetre, try the other.

I look forward to assisting further. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I thank the community for your help.Unfortunately corrosion was my problem.

The tap was beyond repair and had to be replaced.
