This aluminium strip that is bridging 2 sections came off. I want to know what kind of brown glue it is using. Could anyone help plz? Thanks
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @fan8956. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about glue types.
This look to be construction adhesive similar to Liquid Nails. It appears that not enough was used to make adequate contact with the subfloor. I'd suggest cleaning the exposed subfloor, removing any debris, laying a couple of nice thick beads of construction adhesive and repositioning the cover trim.
You want the beads of construction adhesive to be compressed down by the trim, which will adhere it to the subfloor.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thx a lot for the info, Mitchell.
Would below combo work in my case?

Thanks for your reply. What is the best way to preserve the remaining glue and nozzle given I will only keep a small amount?
Hello @fan8956
If you wish to preserve the remaining glue in the bottle, I suggest removing the nozzle and placing a piece of glad wrap or cling film twice over the cut top of the bottle. You then screw the nozzle back on top and that will seal the top of the bottle and prevent air from activating the adhesive.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
