Hello - just recently installed a cement fiber sheet (https://www.bunnings.com.au/james-hardie-2700-x-1200-x-7-5mm-3-24m-hardiegroove-lining_p0712677) in my laundry, on the wall behind my sink and wall behind the washer and dryer.
I wanted to know the best way to paint cement fiber to provide protection from water/condensation and dirt?
Which paint and primer would work best?
(Sink will be installed where the drill and impact are located on the counter top)
Thanks

I agree with Brad.. Dulux is best but Taubman's, British paint and Dulux all come with mould inhibitors in it now and FC sheeting is pretty resistant to water. I'd be leaning more for Wash n wear or Endure. Definitely use the good primer as Brad suggested, 1 step will be perfect.
Hello @kkristy
It's great that you've received excellent advice from @Brad and @Marty_greenshed. Just to add to the suggestions made, I recommend having a look at Crommelin 1L Flat Aquablock Waterproof Primer Undercoat. This primer is formulated to be used in high moisture areas such as laundries, kitchens and bathrooms.
Don't forget to mask the edge of your benchtop and window trims with masking tape to protect them from over painting.
Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask when painting in your laundry.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
