The toilet seems to be leaking as I hear the cistern refilling every 30 mins.
I couldn't figure out how to open the lid to check if the washer has to be replaced.
Can't find the brand name or model.
Any advice/instructions on opening this lid is appreciated.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @theng. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about removing a cistern lid.
There's a series of clips every 100mm or so around the perimeter of the lid. Start at the front in the middle and push in the portion of the cistern directly below the lid. You should feel it flex inwards slightly. This with allow you to grip the bottom edge of the lid or allow space to slip a large flathead screwdriver up into the gap. Work your way over to one side, pushing in the lower section and lifting/unclipping the lid as you go. Once you get the one corner unclipped, the whole lid should release.
