We're looking to move into a new property that does not have a washing machine setup. We were looking to attach the washing machine to the bathroom sink. How could I go about doing that? My washing machine has one water inlet and one draining pipe. Thank you!
Hello @mimthp
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about installing your washing machine.
Generally speaking, a brass tee junction must be placed on the wall outlet. One side will be for the tap hose to be connected again and one side is for the Brasshards 20mm Chrome Loose Nut Mini Washing Machine Tap. You'll need to attach a Brasshards 15mm Brass Threaded Hexagon Nipple to turn female fittings to male threaded fittings.
It's important to use threaded tape on all the threaded fittings to prevent leaks.
Please note that any modifications that need to be made to your plumbing must be done by a registered plumber. This is to make sure that the modification is done to code and is covered under the plumber's warranty.
