How to install lock for powder room door?
Hi,
Hoping you can help me give ideas on how to install lock on this common powder room door? Please see the photo.
Also would like to change the current door handle as it is sharp and kids find it hard to use it due to its sharpness.
Please let me know.

Re: how to install lock for powder room door?
Hi @sunillinus20,
You'd use a sliding cavity door lock. Traditionally, you'd use something like this Lane Satin Chrome Sliding Cavity Door Lock, but you might want to install a lock that has a bit of a handgrip to use as a handle as well. Alternatively, you could try to replace the handle there at the moment, but as it's been cut out, you'd need to find something to suit.
Do you think you could cut this Pope 5mm x 7cm Clear Vinyl Tubing Joiner down one side, open it and glue it over the shape edge?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
