Hi ,
My bathrooms and laundry has vinyl floors which is very old and bad colour.
Underneath of the vinyl is concrete not tiles .
I was wondering is it better to remove the vinyl and put tiles or hybrid floors? I don't want to remove the toilet or do plumbing . Also im looking for non expensive options.
Is there any advice here please?
Both of those ideas are options @sherry59. Were you planning on doing this work yourself or employing someone to do so?
Hybrid flooring would likely be slightly more expensive than tiles, but if you haven't tiled before then the Hybrid flooring would be the easier project to complete yourself. Here's a helpful guide: How to lay vinyl plank flooring.
If you are looking for budget-friendly options, then you might like to consider laying sheet vinyl again. I did my laundry with it, and the current vinyl is much more appealing than the older versions.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
