How to install a new toilet to replace cast fitting?

IMG_6320.jpeg

Intend on installing a new toilet, just started to look into the old one to get some measurements and it has come to my attention it looks like the old waste is potentially a cast fitting?

Will modern toilets situe this without digging it out and repiping.

Possible to cut flush and use a pan connector?

Re: Installing new toilet

Hello @smittyboi

Thanks for sharing your question about installing a new toilet.

Just a friendly reminder that any plumbing work must be carried out by a licensed plumber for safety and compliance.

It appears that you have a classic steel cast iron connector. In this particular instance, I would engage the services of a plumber as they will have the knowledge, experience and tools to handle this type of fitting.

It's possible that the plumber will cut the cast iron head off and connect a PVC cast iron adapter that will allow you to connect any toilet set you wish. I propose looking at the Mondella Concerto Back To Wall Rimless Toilet Suite WELS 4 Star 4.5L/Full
