I have noticed that the shower temperature changes frequently on its own. It constantly changes between hot and cold and it does not remain constant. What to do?
Hi @Jamil,
What kind of hot water system do you have?
Do you have multiple showers in the house? If so, does the problem occur in other showers?
Jason
Hi @Jamil,
Thank you for your question.
As my colleague @Jason has suggested, a few additional details are likely required to pinpoint the problem.
The issue could potentially be caused by your hot water system, the mixing valve or your water pressure.
Did anything in your plumbing system change recently? Or has the problem developed over time?
Does the temperature fluctuate when other plumbing fixtures are turned on?
Are you in a unit or complex where the plumbing system might be connected to your neighbours?
Most issues with hot water require the full system to be considered and any work on pressurised plumbing supply lines requires a plumbing licence. There are a number of possible answers, but it is likely that you're going to have to contact a plumber for their assistance. If you do not already have a preferred plumber, a service such as HiPages or True Local can be used to find plumbers operating in your area.
Let me know if you have any further questions or additional details you can add.
Jacob
