Hi, I have this gap under my shower door that would always have water splashing out onto the floor outside. It's about 3cm height. I've tried using the Sandleford 10 x 1000mm shower door seal, but it doesn't work because of the design of this shower door. The door rubs onto the seal and makes the door hard to close or open, and eventually the seal comes off. Just wondering if anyone could give me some guidance on how to block the water from splashing out. Thanks.
Hi @deeian,
You could consider adhering a small aluminium profile that extends above the bottom of the door to the front edge of the frame. That should help prevent water from exiting the shower screen.
Alternatively, you could add one of these Sandleford 12 x 1000mm Clear Shower Floor Channels to the frame and then a shower seal trim to the bottom of the door. The trim needs to be adhered to the bottom of the door with silicone.
If you could provide more information on how the Sandleford 10 x 1000mm shower door seal rubs against the door, that might help us identify a different type of seal that would work. The seal attaches to the bottom of the door and it appears your door opens away from the frame, so I am unsure where the rubbing would occur.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
