How to fix peeling shower frame?
Hi there, the shower frame and door in our bathroom is badly peeling both inside the shower and outside (picture). Would appreciate any temporary and rental-friendly solutions to cover it! Not attempting to fix it completely, however a short term solution to even mask it for now. Thank you .

Re: Peeling shower frame
Hi @onf,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fabulous to have you join us.
My suggestion is to scrape away the peeling paint with a 100mm Sharp Edge Paint Scraper and then sand the frame back with some Wet And Dry Sanding Sheets to remove any further flaking paint and to remove any hard edges or corrosion.
Keep the biggest paint chip you get and bring it in store with you so you can have one of the helpful team at the Paint Desk colour match the paint for you.
Grab the paint, some Dulux Duramax Flat Metal Primer, painter's tape and a drop sheet.
Mask off the area using the painter's tape and drop sheet, apply a coat of the metal primer, allow it to dry and then apply 1-2 coats of paint.
This will give you a solid aesthetic fix that will last for a good amount of time.
Let me know if you have any further questions or require any clarification.
Jacob
