I recently purchased a new Bosch washing machine, which includes an Aquastop inlet hose. Unfortunately, I am encountering an issue with the installation. One end of the hose, which connects to the water outlet, is obstructed by an L-shaped tap, preventing it from being screwed on properly.
Could you please advise on the best way to resolve this issue? Here are a few options I’m considering:
I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to proceed.
Hello @ShivaRajan_28
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your washing machine tap.
I propose installing a Pope 2 Way Brass Threaded Tap. The top fixing is loose and will allow you to tighten the splitter just by turning the top. Make sure both outlets are in the closed position before you turn on the main tap. This should provide you with enough space to screw your washing machine hose on. Please remember to use plumber's tape on all threaded joins.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
