Hubby and I just replaced our old Laundry exit door with a new door which was too big. So we used an electric planer for the first time ever and
accidentally took too much off the bottom half of one side. It's now got a gap big enough to let in the wind and little lizards, etc. How can we fix it, please?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Kightleys. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about fixing a door.
That's a bummer. Don't feel too bad, though. Electric planers, in my experience, don't provide much room for errors; they're aggressive machines.
What does it look like from the outside? Attaching a piece of beading on the outside to the door jamb that slightly overlaps the door should resolve this issue.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
