Why does my benchtop look yellow and how can I fix it
Hello @jennydavo
Thank you for sharing your question about why your marble benchtop has a yellow tint on it.
It is difficult to tell what could have caused your marble benchtop to develop a yellow tinge on its surface. How old is your marble benchtop? It's possible that the original sealer placed on the surface of the benchtop has expired, thus turning yellow. Perhaps there was a chemical reaction to a cleaning product used on its surface.
I recommend engaging the services of a marble benchtop restoration specialist. They will have the knowledge and equipment to diagnose your benchtop and apply an effective remedy. I don't recommend doing this as a D.I.Y. repair project as it requires trade knowledge to repair a marble benchtop.
