Hello @sallooar
My apologies for the late reply. Thanks for sharing your question about your shower tray.
I'm sorry to hear that your shower tray has reacted badly to the bleach. I propose trying to use a neutralizing agent such as Glitz Green 2L Cleaning Vinegar. Place one cup of cleaning vinegar in a Nylex 1L Trigger Garden Sprayer along with one cup of water.
Spray the surface of the shower tray and leave it to soak for 20 minutes. When the time is up rinse the tray with warm water and see if the tray has changed colour. If not, I suggest doing one more application. If the tray has not changed colour after the two applications, I'm afraid the surface has been damaged too severely by the bleach compound.
I suggest either changing the shower tray or enlist the aid of a professional shower tray repair person to address the damage.

Hello Eric,
Thank you for your advice and product recommendations.
unfortunately I have already tried vinegar as an alternative.
can we paint it back to white?
any suggestions?
Thank you
Hello @sallooar
The products available at the store are rated for steel enamel trays only. They are not compatible with acrylic shower bases. I propose posting posting an ad on Hipages or Airtasker for the professional re-coating of your acrylic shower tray. In this manner, you'll get an idea of how much the service will cost.
Having it done professionally means that it will save you from having to purchase specialised equipment and the work will have a warranty on it.
