Hello @Former Workshop member
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your chipped bath.
The chip can be covered using Selleys 50g Knead It Aqua Epoxy Putty. It's suitable for use on fibreglass, wood, ceramics, metal, concrete, glass, masonry and most plastics. My best advice is to mix only what you need and to spread the putty nice and flat so that it does not stick out. It can be sanded down if you wish, but it will be less work if it is applied to the same level as the baths surface.
However, the main issue will be to match the colour of your bath. I suggest taking a close picture of your bath and going to your local stores paint department and getting at least half a dozen colour sample cards. Your goal is to look for the closest colour match you can find. Once you find a promising colour you can ask the paint specialist to mix a sample pot for you. You can then apply it to the patch. Please note that this colour patch is only temporary and if the bath is frequently used the colour will chip and fade.
If you are after a long-term fix, I suggest engaging the services of a bath restoration specialist. They will be able to patch and paint your bath.
