How to extend washing machine drain pipe that is short by 5cm?

 Hi all,

What would be the best and cheapest way to extend the drain pipe that is only short by 5cm without replacing it. It is just short of being able to be secured to the p trap.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your washing machine drainpipe. 

I suggest using a Toro 19mm Barbed Joiner and linking it to a Pope 19mm x 90cm Clear Vinyl Tubing. Your goal is to get a smooth arc when forming the join, it must not be kinked in any manner, or it will fail to work. To secure the connections make sure to use a Toledo 14-27mm Perforated Clamp Hose Fit. Please remember not to overtighten the clips or it will crack the plastic.
