How do you cut holes in ceramic tiles.
Hi @ascot,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
For small holes, you can use specialised drill bits such as these Ceramic Speedemon Drill Bits. For larger holes, you can use diamond hole saws such as in this Sutton Tools Diamond Segment Holesaw Set.
Both of these are used with a drill that should be operated on low speed, using water to cool the tips to prevent the tile from cracking under high heat.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

More than likely it was a gimmick that I got suckered into - but an attachment to your typical two-rail tile cutter. A pressured cutter that you spin by hand.
Cheap. Sizes from 30mm to 80mm diameter.
Slow.
And loud (screeching) - dogs two blocks away start barking.
But it does work.
A concept still around?
The hole-saws above look a much better alternative.
Just a thought.
