Hi all,
Just moved into a new build as a renter.
Trying to figure out what I’m supposed to connect my Washing Machine’s water inlet to.
The machine has just 1 cold water connection, but we have 3 taps empty, and two taps connected to the sink.
Middle and right tap both have water coming out, nothing from the left.
Also wondering if the washer draining into the little dishwasher spigot will be okay. I’ve got a steel clamp to keep it on tight.
I’ve looked everywhere but haven’t seen someone with a similar issue.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Hello @conor
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us and thank you for sharing your question about your washing machine.
I suggest speaking to your landlord or property manager concerning the function of the three taps under your sink. I'm sure one of them is the cold tap and another is for hot water, however, the third tap is a mystery. I suspect t might be grey water, but it has the wrong type of tap attached.
At this point in time, I suggest not attaching your washing machine to any of the taps until you are sure of their function.
In regards to the wastewater, before you clamp the wastewater pipe to the spigot, please make sure that it has been drilled to allow water to pass through.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
