Hi I am looking for ideas on how to add an extra shower in a 3 bedroom townhouse. Ideally on the second floor if possible as there is only one shower in the house. Am hoping to get some advice whether this is feasible and the approximate cost? Thank you!
Hi @nyoon
I would prepose you convert the mid level power room into a shower room too water proof allthe walls and floors move the light switch to the outside operate from the kitchen with a fan ventin to the out side tied into light switch and control bathroom smells in kitchen.
So a shower above the loo sounds strange but Toileting mid shower possible. using toilet as shower seat, shower washes tiolet each time and wont be hurt by water.
You dont have any space to play with, upstairs in bed one.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @nyoon. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about installing a shower.
On the second floor, you have a bathroom marked. Is the sole shower in that bathroom? If I read correctly, you'd like to add another shower on that level? That's entirely possible, but you'd lose substantial space from one of the bedrooms. I think @Jewelleryrescue is on the money there, and sacrificing the downstairs toilet would be the obvious and most cost-effective option.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
