How can i isolate my shower lines?

I am about to renovate my bathroom and need to isolate my shower, basin and bath so the rest of the house has water but so that I can gut my bathroom.

How can I go about that?

Compression stop?

End cap?

Ball valve?

Shark bite?
or something I haven’t came across yet?

photos of the wall and fitting that went into the wall. TIA!

Re: How can i isolate my shower lines

Hi @ebonybasten,

Thank you for your question about isolating the water supply to your bathroom.

Unfortunately, any time work needs to be done on a pressurised water supply line, you'll require the assistance of a suitably licenced plumber.

You might use this as an opportunity to open a relationship with a plumber for any ongoing work in your bathroom renovation.

You can use a service such as HiPages or True Local to find someone operating in your area.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: How can i isolate my shower lines?

Incase anyone else needs to know how, I ended up buying brass end caps and plumbers tape and capping the ends off. I had a plumber come through a few days later to quote for the rough in and end fitting and I asked him if what I had done was ok and he said there was no issue. So, easily diy’d until the plumbers come to do the professional work.
