How is the best way to get cigarette smoke stains of walls. My husband smokes in the bathroom!

It is a normal bathroom.   Tiles up ot shoulder  height,  higher in the shower.   The ceilings are affected too because my husband smokes in there so as not to annoy others.   He was a renovation man when young in Denmark, but now is 82 and cant do anything much,     I would give the whole job over to a specialist if I could find one, and cost of course.

I am also old, but strong and cuould probably do it,if get advice.

Hi @danish,

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.

There's no need to apologise, we understand and will do our best to help you regardless.

The chemical that commercial cleaners use to remove cigarette smoke stains and smells is trisodium phosphate. This Tricleanium All Purpose Cleaner is a trisodium phosphate cleaner which should be perfect for this job. There is also this Tricleanium 750ml All Purpose Cleaner Ready-To-Use which requires no mixing and could be good for you.

Ensure you follow the instructions on the packaging closely and wear a mask, protective clothing, gloves and eye protection when cleaning with this product.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
