Horizontal distance between the sink drain & floor drain

What is 1. the ideal horizontal distance and 2. the range of horizontal distance between the sink drain and the floor drain for these two products?

What is the minimum and maximum horizontal distances?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about sink trap measurements.

The Caroma 40mm Combination S And P Trap is 200mm from end to end horizontally in full extension. When folded into its smallest shape it will occupy a space of approximately 120mm. 

The Caroma 50mm Combination Short Leg S And P Trap is 230mm end to end horizontally in full extension. When folded into its smallest shape it will occupy a space of approximately 140mm.

When positioning your plumbing under the sink cabinet it's best to have your sink present. As long as the sink outlet and pipe inlet are inside the horizontal measurement of the trap it can be installed properly.
