Cannot get flange off Shaw & Mason wall assembly

Hi- 

I just bought a Shaw & Mason Chrome Easy Clean Wall Top Assembly and cannot remove the Flange from the Spindle. 

Can someone please help?

Thanks for sharing your question about your Shaw & Mason Chrome Easy Clean Wall Top Assembly. Just to confirm, which way did you turn the flange, clockwise or anticlockwise? To loosen the flange, it must be turned anti-clockwise. 

Another method you can try is to grip the flange using a rubber kitchen glove or similar. Hold the body of the spindle and see if you can twist the flange off.

If both methods fail, I suggest bringing it to the store and see if the plumbing specialist can take it apart for you.
