Can you tile over an existing tiled shower floor?

Floor in shower is in great condition just needs an update but wondering if you are able to tile over an existing shower (wet area) floor?

Yes, it is possible to tile over tiles, but given the complexities of the installation, I suggest contacting a qualified tiler about your options. The current tiles might need to be mechanically or chemically abraided to ensure the new adhesive adheres, and the waste outlet height will need to be adjusted to accommodate the higher thickness of the new tiles.
