Hi I’m looking for a solution for trying a washing machine into a small bathroom and have come across this which is basically a “water lily” sink over the machine. The bathroom is not currently set up with laundry pipes and taps. Is this something that would be possible in australia? I can’t seem to find these sorts of Sinks to buy anywhere so not sure if this would be against some sort of regulation here. Here is the link to the solution I mention above: https://myhouse.bigbadmole.com/en/sanuzel/rakovina-nad-stiralnoj-mashinoj
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @maro. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about hand basins.
I haven't found any sinks suitable for mounting directly above a washer machine. Do you have a toilet in the room? If so, you might like to consider a toilet with an integrated hand basin. We also have quite a few slimline wall basins that you might be able to use.
Provided the sink is installed as per building code requirements, there shouldn't be an issue. It might just be that the design has not become popular in Australia.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
