Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @raymak. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about drilling into marble.
You'll need to use a diamond drill bit for marble, as carbide bits are not tough enough. Remember to drill at a slow-medium speed, never full speed, and to cool the drill bit with constantly flowing water as you drill.
Remember your PPE including safety glasses and a respirator.
