Re: how can i patch the wall please
Hi @musama,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
You can use a multipurpose filler such as this UNi-PRO 500g Multi Purpose Interior Filler for these patches.
Use the provided applicator to apply the filler, angling it and wiping it across the patch so the filler is smooth and flush with its surroundings.
Allow it to dry, then give it a sand with a sanding block before painting.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Re: how can i patch the wall please
Hi @musama,
If you just apply paint, there will be an obvious indent.
It's best to just use a bit of the spakfilla to even out the surface before painting. With very minimal effort, it will produce a far better result.

Re: how can i patch the wall please
Hi @musama
For dents like these I just use a waterbased filler which you can buy premixed in tubes. Use a scraper such as this....
that spans the dent so it fills only the dent and leave it to dry. when its dry, go over it again with filler as the filler always shrinks a little. then when that's dry smooth it round the edges with a damp cloth (you don't need sandpaper) leave it to dry once more then paint over it.
