I am wanting to create hybrid stairs like the image above with white and oak. My current stairs are pictured (currently carpeted). Is there a solution to laying hybrid around the poles?

It looks like your inspiration image features a staircase with painted risers and timber treads. From your pictures, it seems like your stairs have painted risers and painted treads that have been carpeted over. Have you checked to see what type of timber your treads are made from? If the existing timber suits your desired look and is hardwood, you could consider removing the carpet and sanding back the treads to expose the wood. That could give you a very similar result to your inspiration image without the need for installing additional materials. However, there's a reasonable chance your stair treads are MDF, so that might not be possible.
If your goal is to install new treads over the treads, there’s no simple way to do this neatly around the balustrade poles. Typically, you’d need to remove the balusters, install the new treads, and then reinstall them.

Your right... they are Mdf under the carpet area. 
I appreciate your feedback. Looks like it might be a bigger job than I was hoping with having to remove the poles.
