White grout transformed house aesthetic
Using 6 $11 bags of white grout from Bunnings, I transformed the aesthetic of our house. Unhappy with the dark grout our builder used I set out to research cheaper alternatives and methods. Here is my version of German Schmear 👌🏻

Re: White grout transformed house aesthetic
Hi @jodi1,
Such a gorgeous transformation you have done with something easy and clever. It makes your house look softer and more inviting. Did it take you long to do the whole house? Did you tackle it in sections?

Re: White grout transformed house aesthetic
Great work! I'm assuming the process involved grinding away the old grout first and then applying the white grout?

Re: White grout transformed house aesthetic
Hello Katie ☺️
it took me approx two weeks on and off, I did about 2 hrs at a time. Very easy process just time consuming. Definitely tackled in sections.

Re: White grout transformed house aesthetic
Thank you, no I didn’t take the original grout out. It was very deep set and I wanted it flush with the brick also. I cleaned the grout first, waited days for it to dully dry then started to fill in sections 👌🏻
