What vinyl edge cap for carpet to tile?
Hi all, I am looking to install vinyl edge cap between carpet and tile and would like some advise what would be the best product available. I have looked into this https://www.bunnings.com.au/qep-33m-roberts-vinyl-edge-cap-dark-grey_p0027323?store=6453. In total, I would need around 17 meter.
Is this some suitable for my use?

Re: What vinyl edge cap for carpet to tile?
Hello @Quantum_Quest
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about floor transitions.
If you are using the QEP 33m Roberts Vinyl Edge Cap - Dark Grey, it will be necessary to install the Roberts 1.65m Silver Multipurpose Pinless Base Trim. The vinyl edge caps anchor at the bottom pushes into the pinless base trim holding it firm. Another option I would like to suggest is the Roberts 3.3m Silver Floating Floor Junior Trim in combination with the Roberts Ramp And Cover Trim Plug - 10 Pack.
I also suggest having a look at this discussion - How to fix carpet fraying in transition to tile? by @DTAYLOR.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
