Kitchen, bathroom and outdoor renovation

We purchased this home back in 2019 and as my husband is a qualified chippy we have renovated the house completely from the inside. We have learnt how to tile, plastering, cabinetry, painting, concreting and so much more since DIYing! We did everything except plumbing and electrical work. We have moved onto renovating the exterior and gardens on weekends. We are getting there slowly but surely!

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thank you for sharing your fantastic home renovation.

What an amazing transformation of each room. The kitchen has really opened up after removing that dividing wall and the island now takes centre stage. The bathroom looks so much more spacious and the tiles really modernized the look of the entire area. The garden of course looks so much tidier and not an overgrown corner of the driveway. You guys must be so happy with the transformation. Was it a continuous renovation from one room to the other or did you have a break between rooms?

Any other information you can share about the building process would be much appreciated.

It was one continuous renovation. We did the bathroom in winter last year so we had to set up an outdoor shower for a good 3 months as we both work fulltime so weekends and nights were the only time we could renovate! We also renovated the lounge room, laundry and all bedrooms. We built 3 BIR too. 

Working on the front exterior/garden at the moment then we will move onto the backyard 😊
