How to fill gap in the door jam?

 hi I was hoping to try and somehow disguise this gap in the door jam, would no more gaps work?

Selleys 475g No More Gaps Interior Multipurpose Gap Filler would be perfect to fill that gap. It's also paintable so you can add a topcoat over it. Here's a helpful step-by-step guide: How to apply silicone sealant.

You might like to pop another few nails through the face of the trim piece into the timber behind to see if you can secure it back to the wall a bit better, as it appears to have separated.
