How to control onion weed in lawn?

does anyone know of a spray which will control onion weed in lawn?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Johnh. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about controlling onion weed.

There are no selective sprays that can be used on onion weed that won't also kill your grass. So, it would be best to use a weeding wand applicator and paint the tips of the onion weed with weed killer. This avoids overspray onto your grass. You could also use Yates 200ml Zero Rapid Gel 1 Hour Action Weed Killer but if there is a lot of it, that could be a bit hard on the old back bending over so often.
