Getting on the tools
Workshop community update #59
Hi all,
There’s been plenty of discussion about tools this week.
@JoshRaf kicked off what he labelled “the great power tools debate”, while @Kellie has just asked what tools a D.I.Y. beginner should have in their new toolbox. It would be great to have you add your opinion to both discussions.
It was also good to see plenty of community members respond to our current poll about television in the bathroom. Please add your vote and join in the conversation.
We always have a poll running so I encourage all Workshop members to have their say. You are also welcome to suggest new poll topics if you are keen to see what the community thinks about a burning issue, or just post your own!
Other popular Workshop posts from the past week included:
- @Briggsy showed an impressive exterior house transformation on the Workshop gallery with before and after photos
- @BIM_Engineer shared tips for getting quotes for tiling in a bathroom, kitchen or laundry
- @MoonshineBen made everyone hungry with a picture of the smoked lamb shoulder he cooked last weekend, then generously shared the recipe
- @Ling asked community members their opinions on carpet versus timber or laminate flooring
- @CharlieG shared the mosaic she has been working on.
Special thanks to our top Workshop contributors over the past seven days. The community members who posted the most popular content this week were @Brad, @jaga, @JoshRaf, @darylhewston and @MoonshineBen. Thanks again for your fantastic contribution to the community and we look forward to seeing more of your projects and great advice.
