Can you install hybrid flooring over tiles?

Can one lay hybrid planks directly over the tiles? or does one need to remove the existing tiles first?

Which is a more durable flooring?  Hybrid or vinyl planks?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about hybrid flooring.

If the tiles are relatively flat and the grout lines are not very deep, it is possible to install hybrid flooring over tiles. Due to the hybrid floors thickness, I believe it is a bit stronger than the vinyl planks. Vinyl planks must be installed on totally flat surfaces otherwise any imperfections will be reflected on the vinyl surface.

Thanks for your  email reply.   Is someone in Bunnings able to come over to my place to assess if we could lay the hybrid plank over tiles?
