Can one lay hybrid planks directly over the tiles? or does one need to remove the existing tiles first?
Which is a more durable flooring? Hybrid or vinyl planks?

Hello @SarahFoo
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about hybrid flooring.
If the tiles are relatively flat and the grout lines are not very deep, it is possible to install hybrid flooring over tiles. Due to the hybrid floors thickness, I believe it is a bit stronger than the vinyl planks. Vinyl planks must be installed on totally flat surfaces otherwise any imperfections will be reflected on the vinyl surface.
Here are some discussions regarding hybrid flooring you might find handy:

Hello Eric
I'm sorry @SarahFoo but Bunnings does not currently offer a flooring installation service.
You might like to check out the step-by-step guide How to lay laminate flooring to assess whether this is an achievable project for you or whether you might like to advertise the job on a service like Hipages.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Hi @SarahFoo
Jason has beat me to it. I was going to suggest posting the job on either Hipages or Airtasker. Please make sure to get a minimum of three quotes and to ask for references so that you can see what kind of work they do.
If you need further assistance, please let me know.
