1. Bathroom makeover on a strict budget by @craftyhopper
Innovative Workshop member Leanne used classic and textured white tiles to enliven her bathroom in this cost-efficient project.
2. Budget Bunnings laundry renovation by @prettyliving
Guided by D.I.Y. tutorials, Jessica installed Bellazza 60 x 30cm Builders Porcelain Floor Tiles behind her laundry benchtop, which made for a contemporary splashback.
3. Heritage-style kitchen makeover by @Lucille
While attempting to build a modern yet homely kitchen, Lucille installed 300 x 300mm tile sets behind her marble benchtop to create a striking look. She used dark blue grout for her tiles, complementing the kitchen’s colour scheme.
4. Tiled laundry splashback by @diy_hausdesigns
A terrific blend of style and functionality. Talented Bunnings Workshop member Rufaro used pre-mixed tile adhesive to install tiles around his laundry sink, protecting the wall from getting wet.
5. Classic bathroom renovation by @jaga
While attempting to modernise their dated bathroom, creative Workshop member jaga opted for plain white matte tiles for the walls and grey floor tiles. The shower niche was updated with timber tile for a contrasting effect.
6. New subway tile kitchen splashback by @ProjectPete
The Workshop community loved Pete's installation of new subway tiles during a kitchen splashback refresh. He opted for white grout for a more spacious look.
7.Tiled feature wall for en suite shower by @Gillgirl
Resourceful Workshop member Gillgirl’s en suite shower refresh involved retiling an existing feature wall. The new wall tiles matched with those on their floor, creating a sense of continuity.
8. Laundry update with new tiles, lighting and storage by @MsChezzyG
In this laundry makeover, experienced Workshop member MsChezzyG replaced the tiling above the sink and extended it across the wall and down the floor for a more spacious look. Light grey grout was used to match the walls.
Tiles are also great at building different types of furniture, like tables. For inspiration, check out this gorgeous side table built using MDF panels and white tiles. Innovative Workshop member @lifestylebymari applied the tiles with Dunlop 2kg Wall And Floor Tile Adhesive and then used Davco 1.5kg #67 Cashmere Sanitized® Colourgrout to finish the project.
Inspired by European wall patterns and designs, Mari also created this stunning mosaic tile table by upcycling a discarded table.
