There are a few different fixing methods for steel and timber beams which include the Swing slide climb swing hook, Swing Slide Climb 12.5 x 7. 5 x 6cm Ductile Swing Hook and the Swing Slide Climb Pigtail Hook. These products can all be used in conjunction with snap hooks to allow easy removal.
If you can take a picture of the beam I can go into further detail as to what fixing method I would recommend.
