I know very little about what I'm doing so lets start basic just like me.

Need to build a veggy garden shade

Thinking ( Hard for me but lets try)

Size 5mX4mX??2m

4X150mm upright posts maybe 6?

Treaded pine?

Top Ring           

           2 @ 50X200X4000(4M)

           2 @50X200X5000(5M)

Speaders

           5 maybe 6 @ 30X70X4000

Roof

          Shade Cloth 4MX5M

Have you seen the very popular home made shade hoop house by @Grub80? 

You might also get some inspiration from this fantastic project by @mandy111s111 - Summer vege patch project.
